May–September | last Friday of the month
You are invited into a gentle, seasonal gathering for women to slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with themselves, with the land, and with the quiet wisdom of horses.
Remembering & Returning is a monthly, in-person circle held on the land, offering a grounded and nurturing space to step out of urgency and into embodied presence. Each gathering is guided by the rhythms of the season and the steady, regulating presence of the horses.
This circle is not about fixing or striving. It is about remembering what the body has always known and returning to ways of being that are older than words.
When we speak of ancestral rhythms, we are not referring to a specific culture, lineage, or tradition. We are pointing to the universal, human ways of knowing that existed long before modern urgency—listening to the body, attuning to the land, moving at a pace that supports regulation and connection.
Together, we will:
No prior experience with horses is needed. All interactions are conducted from the ground in a guided, consent-based practice , and grounded in safety and respect for both people and animals.
This offering is especially supportive for women who:
Come as you are.
Let the land and the horses remind you.
Return to what already lives within you.
Each gathering lasts approximately 1–1.5 hours and meets on the last Friday of the month at 10am from May through September.
(May 29, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25)
An intimate group setting for those wanting to slow down and reconnect—with your body, with nature, and with ancestral rhythms.
Registration is limited to 8 people per event.

Gordon's Green Gables sits on the traditional land of the Dakota, Sioux, Anishinabe, Chippewa, and Ojibwe peoples. We acknowledge their ancestors who lived in the Hugo area and were forcibly removed from here. Hugo was the summer land of the Dakota people who harvested wild rice from the lakes in this area. Honoring the past, present, and future Indigenous stewards of this land is one small way that we are working to decolonize and spread awareness of historical truths.
